8th door of the Advent calendar
- 250g ground unblanched hazelnuts
- 200g sugar
- 4 egg whites
- 1 teaspoon of ground coffee
- Whole hazelnuts
- Oblaten wafers (optional)
Whisk the egg white until stiff.
Carefully fold the ground hazelnuts, coffee and sugar into the egg white. Do not stir.
With two little spoons put small portions onto the oblaten wafers. Decorate with a hazelnut in the centre.
Bake in a preheated oven, at 180°C, for about 10 minutes until beginning to colour
If you don’t have Oblaten wafers you can bake the Nuss-Makronen on non-stick baking paper
Suggestion: Make one recipe of cokos macronen and one of hazelnuts.
