13th door of the Advent calendar
- 2 bars of chocolate (half milk chocolate/half dark chocolate, or according to taste, can also be white chocolate)
- 2 cups of cornflakes
- ½ cup of slivered almonds (can be substituted with another cup of cornflakes)
Carefully melt the chocolate, ideally by placing a bowl over boiling water (bain marie).
Coarsely crunch cornflakes and almonds before tossing into the melted chocolate. Stir until all cornflakes are covered.
With 2 teaspoons scoop small praline size portions onto baking paper and let them cool down until hard.
